Work Stand Storage

I'm trying to get into doing a bit more of my own servicing and repairs and as such picked up a bargain Park Tools workstand (£39 PCS-9) on ebay. I've been storing my bike on the stand (it can't get knocked over and scratched that way) and wanted to check if I'll be doing any damage to the bike. The stand clamps onto the seat post, sometimes it can be a couple of weeks between rides, any problems with this method of storage?

    I'd hope not or else I wouldn't get on the bike and ride it in the first place!
