After my comment earier today that I was still dithering on the shavey question, I finally took the plunge.

With a little help from Mrs Attica - well she laughed, I grimaced. I took it all off with the epilator. Bl0ody heck, that stung a bit.
I'm told that I'll be smooth as a laydee for about the next three weeks.

All I need do now is drag on a TdF shirt and forego the helmet for the cap at the back of my kit drawer and I'll be an FCN 0. To be honest I'll probably keep the helmet though.

Tomorrow morning the target on my back will be so big it'll be acting as a sail.

right, I'm off to change my sig and get a good nights sleep so I can be fresh for the morning, I'm gonna need to fly like the wind now.

  • My god... with an epilator?

Why? What was wrong with a razor?

Well the wee wifey uses one, so - not to be outdone - I kind of had to.
That and the fact that I was calling her bluff big style as she scoffed when I suggested it.

Greg, a tandem what a great idea, and I'd be delighted to be seen out promenading with you, do you want to go in front or behind?

A grown man sharing de-hairification techniques with a burd who pushes a mahoosive gear. It's a crazy topsy turvy world we live in and no mistake.

As for your kind offer to share your tandem Atts consider me in.

I will of course take a position behind you but occasionally I'll reach around to ring your bell.

    GT.

Stop it, I've just guffawed a load of tea all over my monitor!
Just a thought, but where would a tandem sit in the food chain? on the flat we could collect us some serious scalps.

You ring my bell GT, I'll keep pumping away at our synchronised rings.

    Tight shorts - Check

Close attention to depliation - Check (cough)

Fascination with other men's Physiques - Check

    Tight buns - check

Wearing a jersy one size too small so you get a "snug" fit over your arms - Check.

Worry not CP, I'll not be able to get there until about 11.30 - that's assuming I don't stop all the way. Perhaps that's a bit ambitious!

Have a great night you lot, drink safely, ride safer, looking forward to meeting you all one day.
