Has anyone else been having trouble getting onto Wiggles website?

It seems to be down an awful lot lately......

TIA

Been working ok for me, just checked again and working fine now aswell.

Must be one of those technical firewall computery things or whatnot with you.

As you can tell I'll be no help telling you what you need to do

    Are you using AOL?
  • I'm not using AOL just plain old IE7. Tech help for Virgin can't seem to work it out either. It's only Wiggle that I can't get on..... strange

    Been fine for me.

Why is Wiggle so popular? Seem very expensive compared to most online stores (except the high street stores).

Because when you've spent enough to get the discounts, they suddenly become very cheap. Also, the service is the best of any shop I've used. And you get sweets with your orders!

I never get sweets! I feel cheated now

  • I'm liking the sense of humour guys, but has anyone any idea why I'm having this problem?
  • no sweets here either, although I did get a bottle opener last time.
  • do you have a problem getting in with "redvee"s bookmark? It got me straight in, even though I've had trouble before.

  • Sorry, yes I tried that. Not a sausage. There's nothing wrong with my laptop, I've cleared the cache, done a dns flush and even tried pinging www.wiggle.co.uk i can ping the bbc website and sky.com but it just keeps telling me that wiggle doesn't exsist.
  • The Wiggle site is always busy though, it's a premier site for all outdoor activities

Wiggle ain't that bad pricewise. I always do a price comparison and don't mind paying a little extra for the great service, free sweets and (a collection of) Wiggle etched bottle openers
I bought a bike from them last month and got a free mini multitool, a pukka pedal spanner, a box with a reflector kit, bell and resin pedals, even though I ordered a set of DMRs for the bike.. Needless to say the reflector set, resin pedals and bell got junked

try changing your DNS servers to open DNS, it's probably the same issue that AOL users were getting.

search the forum for AOL and wiggle, and posts by me, I've explained it enough times already.

Your ISP has a problem with their DNS servers then. Either swap to another DNS server as already suggested, or pop the line

    www.wiggle.co.uk 80.243.188.35

into your hosts file. Can't remember where it lives in windows, could be c:\windows\system32\driver\etc\hosts could be wrong though.

I'm with Virgin and have no probs getting to wiggle site. Are you a 'Virgin' customer or a customer from one of the companies they bought up such as NTL/Blueyonder etc?
