Disc brake pads alignment

Ok, made an error while cleaning my bike earlier, accidently knocked the brake lever with the front wheel out, oops. I was able to get the wheel back in, but one of the pads is in permanent contact with the rotor. I'm a bit new to the whole hydraulic disc brake thing, so if anyone has any ideas how to sort this it would be much appreciated! The brakes are Tektro if that makes a difference. And yes I know, I'm a nugget.

push it back in with something clean, like a tyre lever. then pull the lever a few times to set pads against disc. and then use."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I'm assuming that they are hydraulic and not the cable actuated tektro's? You should be able to insert an allen key or tyre lever in between the pads. Just push against the pads and they will open out. If this is impossible, remove the filler cap on the handlebar, then try again (watch oil does not spill onto your paintwork).
Hope this helps

Wow thanks for the quick response guys, the tips worked a treat, wheel now spinning cleanly. I honestly thought it would be something more serious than that, the way everyone makes such a big deal out of not touching those levers with the wheel out! Lesson learned.
Thanks again, happy trails...0
