what bike to buy

I want to buy a hardtail mountain bike for around £700 but i do not know what to get i was thinking a rockhopper disc 2008 or a cube ltd pro which would be the best out of them or is there any better bikes for a round the same price could anyone help me out

    ive got a rockhopper disc and love it, but i would have gone for the cube if id looked around a bit first. i think the one your looking at has different components, better brakes. thats the only thing i didn't like about mine. you wont be disappointed whatever one you get. those cube bikes look class, its gotta look good!! the rockhopper gets nothing but good reviews for its amazing frame etc but not sure about cube, my mate loves his reaction though. and the black cubes weigh less than the other colours!

    Try and take both of them for a test ride, see which one you like the most. Visit your most local bike shops and if they stock different brands you will see there is quite a wide range of bikes available within your budget.

    For £700 look no further than the Decathlon Rockider 8.2: Full Sram X9, Juicy 5's, Reba Race with Pop-Loc, Stylo Crank - pisses all over any other bike (spec wise) at that price range (well I have one so I'm biased)
