Hybrid to road???

Hi - brand new here
I got a hybrid bike - which I have just completed the coast to coast on - great fun! I have really got the bug & wondered what I could do to alter the bike I have (Cannondale Synapse Flat Bar Tiagra Triple ) to a road bike - what drop handles could I fit - how do I alter brakes etc - can I do it ? Sorry for daft questions but reallly fancy real road cycling.
