Grand Rapids, MI commuter awareness

I'm not sure this the right place to post something like this, so if not, I'm open to redirection.
I'm a bike commuter/road rider in Grand Rapids, MI and I want to invite other cyclists in the area to our community's Critical Mass ride. I've never been to it before, but I plan to check it out on Friday, August 29 at 5:30pm at Veterans Park downtown (happens on the last Friday of every month).
The goal is to raise awareness of bike riders on the roads and cycling as a healthy, inexpensive, environmentally friendly mode of transportation.
Everyone is welcome to come ride. Let's obey the traffic laws and have fun!

Hi, from the location you mention i believe you are in the US so this may not apply.
But i thought the whole idea of CM was that it wasn't organised, in fact i thought there were actually legal issues surrounding organising such a thing so you may want to check out what laws apply where you are. And then be careful to not be seen as organising it (if i am allowed to say such a thng). Maybe someone else knows of an alternative, universally recognised, appropriate wording ?
anyhow, good luck0 -

Thanks for the warning. I'm not organizing it, I just wanted to share my enthusiasm with others who might be interested. I really don't want to break laws doing this. My hope is to raise awareness. I'll check it out this month, see how it goes, be carefull...and then it may be that critical mass isn't the right outlet for my goals.
Thanks!0
