Fairly good ride by Cummings even though it looks a bit like the wheels came off at the end.

Big boys all starting now.

cyclingfans.com should help for video streaming, try the Eurovision link, but it's video and event audio only, no commentary.

Cummings did a good ride regardless. The course is hilly for a TT. Should be a good result.

Nice riding by Pooley and full respect to Longo for 4th place by a few seconds in the womens' ride.

  • BBC have a live feed on cyclingfans.
Dertie does Lance. Half a minute faster than Cancellara, at the first TC.
Must have a special TUE off the Chinese.
I wonder if his performance will be greeted with the same skepticism as Schumacher's Tour trials were? Somehow, I think not.
Spain continue to take the p*is.

You're better off listening without sound anway, the BBC's commentator is rubbish.

Personally I hope A.C. doesn't make it but you look at the others and raise eyebrows too.

Yeah, I guess the question would be who would be a "valid" winner?

  • was that cancellara catching scumacher after 23.5 km or do is there something wrong with the feed ?

Seems Cancellara is restoring some sort of normality.

Yup- hes about 15 up after a lap :D and caught Schumacher.
  • Much as I dislike the guy, to me, Leipheimer's ITT position is so motionless. Especially as he looks pretty uncomfortable.

"this is Larsson about to sweep up Karpets"

Unintentional but a great pun from Porter.

"Cancellera sweot up Schumacher" too. I laughed as I'd just previously read your post.

    Oh well.

    Chinny wins.

At least Levi managed to get a medal.

So, what's the next road event in Europe to look forward to?

Hue Porter is great, but his Aussie sidekick is just useless, makes Paul Sherwin, and even Sean Kelly sound remotely professional.

    Great ride by Cancellara.

Porter's not so good. He made so many mistakes during the time trial. He was getting the riders mixed up, couldn't pronounce the names right, he didn't seem to be able to follow the starting order, said one rider would beat another when they didn't and so on. I'm sure he's a nice guy but as a commentator, he is very error prone.

    Cummings in heady company.
Zabriskie, Schumacher, Grabsch, Nibali, Karpets, Menchov, Bruseghin and Kirchen are just some of the guys Cummings beat. A very impressive ride indeed.

not a fan either but I picked him for the win...so I like him less now

cancellara was class through the corners on the run in... it looked like he made a lot of time

You mean you aren't already counting the hours until the Eneco Tour begins?! SHOCKED.

Did the Australian guy on the BBC commentary at least get Cancellara's name right this time? He was calling him Candellara all through the RR.

It was a great susprise the performance of Tuft, more even than Larsson.

Cancellara is a incredible rider, what a strength! and Levi very good.

Another disappointment actuation of Menchov and Evans (he has a excuse with his knee injury)

Contador close to medal, after that i think is the main fauvorite in La Vuelta (best time in the first climb of the TT)
