Any 700c's will work, but you need to ensure that you get wheels to suit your riding, and your tyres.
The main considerations will be the range of tyre widths you are interested in running, and the compatibility of the freewheel. You can't use narrow tyres with wide rims or vice versa, within reason, and not all freewheels will support all cassettes.
I forget if 7/8 is compatible, or 8/9. I'd suggest picking the brains of your lbs and "thinking about it" on Wiggle once you know the answer.0 -
Looking at Shimano R500 wheelset £60 on Chianreactioncycles would these be any good looking to use the same tyres which are on at the moment which are Continental city ride. ?
Would they take my weight 13st and my daughter 2st ok ?0 -

should be fine for any tyres between 700x23 and 700x 35 I would think. Weight will be fine tooroad0
