Oh dear, you've got hopes, welcome to a painful and expensive world of buying pointless anodized parts :P
They look ace with the blue floating rotors, but now you really need bore caps, master cylinder caps and levers... all in blue of course! BTW I am definitely a bad influence!0 -
I'll admit I was a teeny bit concerned how blue the floating rotors were going to be compared to the frame but wow its pretty much identical isn't it.
They look pretty damn awesome. fantastic looking bike.0 -
Looks fantastic ! i suspect you will have hundreds of blokes following you around Afan next time......I am Guido. I am gone like Ghost.0

I have to say that i'm a little dissapointed in you for having a blue bike with black bits on...

Yeah I know, i'm wondering which bits to change next..... blue brake levers? blue hubs? obviously a blue quick release seat clamp
Dunno what to do about the handlebars though!0 -

black! i think the blue, black and white as it looks now is good. you can have too much of a good thing.
blue seat clamp definitely but leave the rest black.
in my opinion that is.
mind you my bike is pretty much all black.

Ta!
Id personally go for blue and silver... So silver clamp, post, stem, headset, bars, spokes and rims, blue hope tarting on the brakes. Blue jockey wheels, bore caps, hubs, chainring bolts, derraileur bolt. Keep the white pedals saddle and grips, possibly with blue locking clamps...
Oh and get the blue tyres definately...0 -

Considering I am a massive tart, i think my opinion is considerably more valid.
Sweetskinz are wild. I'm thinking of getting the flame ones for a stealthed out satin black ss rigid town bike...0 -
Ha ha those tyres are hideous....
what about these though? Not great reviews, and they're expensive, but would they look cool?!

cobalt's
ok i change my mind. those wheels are certainly ok0 -
but tyres? they cant be black... I'm thinking, slightly too seriously, white halo twin-rails or firexcpro with the blue sidewall strip.0

I dunno though, white tyres? They'll end up looking grey/brown - I have enough trouble keeping my grips looking vaguely white, its getting a bit boring cleaning them with a toothbrush every time i ride.......0

tis avery nice looking bike, i reckon a set of those cobalt wheels would finish it off nicely0
-
How do you keep white grips and saddle clean, I've thought about getting these for my pitch but even the brown charge spoon gets mingin :?0
-
I use an old toothbrush and fairy liquid, sometimes a tiny bit of diluted bleach. The saddle keeps quite clean, but the grips are a bit more difficult to keep looking white!0

try Cillit Bang. That stuff cleans anything.I am Guido. I am gone like Ghost.0
