Hi, on the fastest gear of the cassette, there is a knocking sound in time with the chain. Smooth as you like in all the other gears.

I'v tried adjusting the rear mech high range setting, no change. Also front mech adjustment is good.

On XT cranks, lx cassette 9 spd, sram XO rear, lx front, shimano xt chain.

Check the cable isn't gunged up, and cable tension. Also check that cog for bent teeth.
