Bike wheel dont move.

I was out riding when all of a sudden peddling got really tough and eventually i just couldnt move the wheel without brute force.

Any ideas what this could be, nothing looks broke.

    what bike? spec?

    binding brakes. seized wheel bearings.

    my best bet would be the brakes rubbing but is it a thruaxel because the same thing happened to me and it was something in the axel :D

    well if its not one of those it could be your wheel hub is on to tight ive had this problem before its easy to fix but if u do loosen it make sure you dont loosen it too much (for obvious resons)

    its a possibility but this doesnt happen all of a sudden
