Bottom Bracket Problems - Race Face X-TYPE XC/AM

My LBS has diagnosed a bent drive side cup on my X-Type XC/AM Bottom Bracket and suggests it is replaced.

I have recently read a number of bad reviews of Race Face BB's (poor life span etc). As such I was think of replacing with a Hope BB.

Has anyone had any experience of Hope BB's (Good/Bad)?

Could anyone advise whether the Hope BB will be compatible with my Race Face Atlas AM Chainset?

I'm in the camp who reckons that Hope products on the whole are very good.....but are also overpriced.

I've recently switched from Hope components to Superstar. Not only am I getting very good products and very good prices I havent noticed any difference in performance.

Thanks for the info. I'd seen Superstar Components advertised but never heard much about them.

Since your post, I've been reading great reviews everywhere I look.

Definately gonna give the HTII a go. At £20 a pop, you can't really go wrong.

the price was the reason i looked into them at first but they are really nice in the flesh, i have a red one on my stumpy and had a gold truvativ one on the willow. very nice bits of kit and turned up next day too.
