Why did Nicole Cooke wear a skinsuit when all others used traditional jerseys?

Tend to use them for shorter races only as there are no pockets to put food from your mussette into - maybe she prefers the tight fit of a skin suit in those very wet conditions and shoved any gels etc she was using up the leg of the shorts?0

Think Bronzie is right. Probablt better with a skin suit in that much rain, just runs off it.
Being 75 miles not much food needed but energy drinks a must that swhat she got from feed station also.0
