spoke lengths

Hi

I'm going to attempt to build a new back wheel, I've got the hub, a shimano m475 and the rims, crosser x-pert (not great, but double walled and pretty strong) how do I know what length spokes I need? there are calculators out there but how do I find the internal diameter of the rim, they're profile rims but I'm guessing not all rims are alike.

any ideas? I really want to get cracking with this wheelbuild.

    read sheldons wheel building pages it shows you how to work out the rim ERD and then measure the hub (but the hub infos should be in the calc already).
