Chain / chainring compatibility?
Hopefully one of the bike experts here can help me out:
I have a 7-speed shimano cassette and derailleur on my bike, but have recently had to replace the cranks. The existing crankset consists of Campag cranks and chainrings, but I have been given a set of used old dura-ace cranks.
There are no compatibility issues with the BB (square taper), but now I need chainrings to match the existing cassette/derailleur/chain.
Using the power of google, I've discovered that I need 130 bcd chainrings, but I now am befuddled:
1. Do I need 7-speed specific chainrings?
2. Can I re-use the crank bolts from the old chainset?
