So how do you guys do it?

I have found (through trial and error  ) that a mixture of tesco value lemon washing up liquid and a 3rd tesco kitchen degreaser (bought becasue they were dirt, dirt cheap) seem to do the job well.

I also bought the value toothbrushes, lol, for pennies, and I brush over parts with those.

Yesterday I went in the local and found this stuff called Fenwicks FS-10 (it says its a dilution of FS-1 degreaser and you spray it all over and wipe it about with a cloth, etc). So after my normal degreasing routine I gave the bike the treatment. Hmm, perhaps I should have waited for a less windy day coupled with a more dirty bike! :?

Hmm while I'm here - I've got aksium wheels... should I be taking the rod out and squashing grease in there once in a while? They seem to be running smoothly even after a year.
