dura ace 7900

Does anyone reckon the new2009 Dura Ace 7900 chainset would be compatible with a DA 7800 bottom bracket and more importantly a 'normal' 10 spd chain and DA7800 transmission? Reason: would like to 'take advantage' of the new DA compact chainset and I'm a sucker for lovely looking new components but too mean to go out and buy a whole new groupset!

    As far as I know there should be no compatibility issues. If you wait, you might be able to get just the chainrings instead of the whole chainset. Or you could look at SRAM Red...
