adjusting shimano 105 (30 speed)

hi !first post
is there a good guide on this site (or elsewhere on the net ) on adjusting my gears (video guide would be nice)
the bike is a scott spedster s30 i.e 30 gears it's my first road bike bought secondhand after 12 miles use by previous owner.
am i likely to run into any problems?
btw i have a work stand & basic mechanical aptitude
..also any other good video guides / how to's on maintenance

Pic the rear mech to see how shimano think you should adjust / setup the gears etc.
