I'm about to completely strip and service my all mountain bike bearing (wheels, headset, etc), looking for recommendation on a good grease. In the past I have used black gold (anyone else remember trying to get that out of the carpet?), pace, and am currently down to my last squeeze of finish line, but the finish line grease seeme to be very thin, so I'm looking for something a bit tougher!!
What do you use?

Halfords red teflon grease is a great all rounder, and cheap.0

I use to use black gold as it was apparently jet wash proof but it also dragged loads.
A good PTFE grease is the best all rounder, stay well clear of lithium for seat posts though as it will seize them in place.0 -

i use finishline teflon grease for pretty much everything, is very sticky though (i know grease tends to be but this stuff is extra sticky) so clean it off anything you dont intend to be greased as dirt will stick to it like shi-ite to a blanket

Weldtite red grease is teflon based too and withstands plenty of moisture.0
