continuing the search for the best and cheapest energy foods for us cyclists .
i lifted a pack of marshmallows my missus had bought and read the nutrional info on the back.
well blow me down.................. per 100 grams , 0.2% fat and 80.8 % carbohydrate !!!!!
sounds like the perfect cycling food to me boys and easily carried in back pocket of jersey., im gonna give it a go for sure.

I'm not so sure about that as I suspect the carbs may all be in the form of sugar. This will give an instant boost but you will come down quickly and be worse off. Better something which is oat-based as this will release the energy more slowly.0

61g per 100 is sugars.
you reckon this would only be a quick shot in the arm ?

I've tried marshmallows! The only down side is that it seems to suck the water out of your system and you can dehydrate because of the gelatine. I did it for a week before I gave up on them.0
