I was wondering if any of you more savvy london types could offer me some advice?

I'm heading hom this weekend and rather fancy taking the train to paddington then cycling to victoria to catch another down to the south coast. What would be the best route to go, i'm reasonably happy cycling in heavy traffic but google doesn't seem to offer any decent routes.

Down sussex place to stanhope terrace then brook street to Bayswater Road, along the northern edge of Hyde Park, then dwn west carriage drive through the park, left onto s. carriage drive to Hyde park Corner, constitution hill to Buckingham Palace, then back on yourself at the roundabout to birdcage walk and buckingham gate to victoria station on your left.

You could go onto grosvenor place at hyde park corner to miss out the back-on-yourself bit, but you don't get to see the Queen's house!! :)
  • Trying to do it on Bikely for you but it's not playing ball! Basically brook street brings you out opposite the street that goes across the park, which my navigating brain had forgotten... but you need to either break the law or hop off your bike and cross over!
