Just some newbie questions!!

Hi, I have just bought a new bike, in Germany, to get back into the biking/fitness again. I have a couple of questions, firstly I bought a Thule FreeRide 530 roof mount, but I am a little concerned that the riviets on the bottom of the vertical posts may be a little weak? is it worth drilling and replacing with bolts?
Also the bike I got was a Carver 301 pure. I can't find a website for Carver anywhere??
It seems a nice bike though, rock shox, Magura brakes ect.

    thule are a well renowned bike rack maker. its probably up to the job, i like drilling things out and making them better as well, if it does collapse or fall off though you will have no one to cry to!!
