I see that the Colnago web site has been updated now and the 09 collection is there to see.
The new EPS has a semi integrated headset as does the new CX1. Does this mean that Colnago are ditching the non-integrated headsets in the long term?

Nice to see that they haven't dropped the CLX yet (in case I need a 5th seatpost!)

The colours look much better than last year's, but I'm still considering getting my next Colnago from Maestro with one of the historical colours.

    Dunno if this will work:

It's a pity that all the seatpost issues reported on here have probably clouded people's views of the CLX. I've got a 2008 Ultegra model and it's utterly superb, and despite being almost 14st I've had no troubles whatsoever with the seatpost, perhaps due to the redesign over the earlier models.

For two grand all in (as I paid) I reckon it's unbeatable - there can't be many bikes at that price point which you an also see in the pro peleton!

Just my tuppence worth, of course.....

No I can't get into it. Shame as I was intererested in the EPS. I'm sure it will be working properly soon.

I was after the EPS in the light blue that one particular pro rider was riding in the tour this year.

You mean Erik Zabel's bike that was in the comic yesterday?
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I think it was Zabel's bike, on this site during the Tour also.

It looks like the new CLX uses a conventional seatpost. It looks like a Willier Izoard at first glance.

'An all new monocoque 1" 1/8 CLX carbon fiber fork and Colnago AERO Carbon seat post that matches the aero section down also grace Colnago's new CLX.'

Sounds like it still has an aero seatpost though they may have redesigned it. It was one of the things that swayed me towards the Izoard.

When did you see the CLX in the Pro Peloton?

It's used extensively by Landbouwkrediet, including our own Ian Stannard:

There's also a piece about its 'pro' use in thewashingmachinepost, with a pic of a Rabobank rider aboard (scroll down):

And also referred to in the excellent Pez review of the CLX, with the nice line: "The CLX is fast enough for the Landbouwkrediet pro team, so it's likely fast enough for most of us too."

    Enjoy!

I'm back at work and can't get beyond the first page. At home I run XP with Mozilla Firefox and can see the links at the bottomn of the first page and navigate throughout. At work we run XP with Internet explorer version 6.0 and can't see the links to the different bikes even though I've udated flash player.

Any techies out there know why it won't work in Intenet explorer?

All I can see is a EPS and CX-1 on a red background even after pressing F11. :?
I'd rather walk than use Shimano
