Shimano BB tool

Hi, When using this tool do i need an adjustable wrench 32mm or bigger or something else.

    You'll need a 12" imperial adjustable wrench, metric ones aren't big enough for the job. :lol:
    Anything with jaws that open wide enough for the tool will suffice but the longer the handle the more torque you can apply to the stubborn BB cups. I've got an old seat tube re-profiled* to act as an extension should I need it. Some BB tools have a 1/2" drive on the end but I've found this is no good on HTII BBs.



    *Read squeezed in a bench vice to slip over the handle of the wrench.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
