Do these pedals use their own proprietry cleats? They look similar to Shimani SPD-SL. :?
I guess what I'm asking is if the other cleats (Keo, delta, etc) will work with BBB pedals.
Thanks,

EDIT: sorry I posted the wrong model...

  • They are Look compatible.

The classic Look deltas, not Keo.

Not all pedals are the same even if they look it.

I bought new shoes a few months back, and had the BBB SPD cleats put on, supposedly compatible with the Shimano SPD pedals. I quickly found that however I tightened the spring on the pedals I was using (Shimano M540) the shoes were constantly popping out, and at the worst times like taking off at the lights.

I changed to proper Shimano ones, and didn't have that problem afterwards.

Of course having overtightened the pedals I couldn't get my feet out either and had an embarrassing crash when I came to a stop and couldn't get out, but once that was sorted (no damage to bike or rider) I was fine.

Moral, use a single brand for something critical like that, don't assume compatible is as claimed.
'Twas Mulga Bill, from Eaglehawk, that caught the cycling craze....
  • I actually use the BBB pedals on my Race bike, with standard Look cleats.

I have never had a problem.
