ALLOY FREEHUBS AND STEELL CASSETTES / COGS

I`ve noticed on the Easton wheels owners manual that they advise against using individual cags with alloy freehubs --- such as on EA90 road wheels---you`re meant to use cassettes with alloy cog carriers; since Campag are mostly or entirely steel individual cogs depending on level (ie Mirage / Veloce all steel, Centaur/ Chorus some alloy carriers) has anyone experienced any issues with steel cogs cutting into teh alloy freehub? I`ve already got in use both a Veloce (13-29) and Centaur cassette (13-26) on the wheels---should I be looking to use only Centaur or Chorus??

Less of an issue on Campag hubs as the splines are deeper than those on wheels with shimano freehub bodies (had two sprockets chew completely through the splines of a Shimano body before now)

    probably

I have campag Eurus Wheels (alloy freehub) with Centaur groupset inc. cassette - the smaller cogs withouth alloy carriers leave a little mark on the freehub splines - but nothing I'd particularly worry about

mmm --just had a look at the freehub again and note a few small dints on some of the alloy splines after 500 miles use ---but can`t really see how the cogs could cut through, but may get an alloy carrier cassette for largest few cogs just to be longterm safe :)
