Tyre Liners - sticking them to the inside of the tyre?
Bought a pair of Slime tyre liners for my commuting bike. They're a bit fiddly to fit so I've been trying to find a way to fix them to the inside of the tyre so that they don't fall out when you're trying to get the semi-inflated tube in.
Anyone else come across this problem? I thought double-sided sticky tape would do the trick but no joy. Probably need some sort of glue that will stick plastic to rubber?

i fitted those (and refitted since) by laying the wheel on its side and carefully and patiently putting in the tube and squeezing the tyre to centralize the tube. Bit of a pain to do, but they are pretty much where they should be i think. The commuter i am using now, i bought some similar things but made from a cream coloured slightly furry substance (??) and they were sticky backed, much easier to use. And not a single puncture on them yet (he said, calling down the god of punctures wrath down upon his head...). Have had one or two on the slime ones, though might be coincidental.0

the problem with cheap liners ( for ex Slime) is that they crack and the cracks pinch the tubes giving punctures from within.
the best liners are soft plastic ( for ex Ciclolinea) that does not crack or kevlar ( for ex panaracer)0 -
Or just run a tubeless conversion. Then no punctures and more grip....0

And funnily enough i punctured the very next day!!!0
