It's being reported...

Not terribly surprising though, is it?

Still they have an anti-doping program

Well, what else is landis going to do? He's bankrupt and has no real skills apart from bike racing.

Hopefully his performances will be absolutely rueful, and poeple will throw things at him

Hmm, wonder if he'll be part of the Rock team that rides the ToB.

I see they're already bringing Tyler Hamilton over to ride it.

    No, he's still banned.

And his hip is fine now - It's been resurfaced and works well.

I doubt it has worked any better than on the Joux Plane.

if posters feel strongly about the participation of certain riders and teams at the ToB

    one could email the ToB

at info@thetour.co.uk and express ones displeasure and/or point out they will not be offering volunteer services for the race.

apparently some "bigger boys" made him do it. Or was it the voices?

    He is indeed.

But whatever, admitting it doesn't mean anything. He's served a ban - How many others out there are still cycling, many of them for "clean" teams, and definately have used doping products or techniques in the last 8 years.

Are they also not lying to us?

Not surprising if this happens, but it does mean no European racing for him. Although, if I were Floyd, I'd never set foot in France again. Maybe he could try to win the Giro instead? :P

Not quite - Rock Racing are planning a European campaign next year. They've got a few more biggish signings coming up and what with teams in Europe disappearing all over the place I'm sure they'll get rides in some of the races.
