Do ribble usually reply to emails or answer the phone?

I ordered a few things last week that were in stock and paid for next day delivery. They haven't even started the order yet and won't reply to emails. I also enquired about a couple of other items and they haven't replied to them either!! Are they on holiday

I always use Wiggle or Prendas and have no problems at all but they hadn't got the items in stock so I've tried Ribble. What's their service usually like?

Ribble are usually pretty good. A while back they used to be pretty bad, but they're a lot better now.

As above, I won't use them anymore as after sales service was appalling but apparently they have supposed to have got better over the last twelve months - obviously not though!

I think they're a bit patchy too. A recent order of mine had a problem with the payment that didn't come up until after I'd got the confirmation that it had all gone through. They didn't notify me so it was up to me to notice the non-delivery and then let them know that I wanted to try giving them my money again. Not a big deal, but there was no hint from the guy on the phone that it had occurred to him that they could have done anything differently. Just a sort of weary indifference

Yes, with no answers but tried again just and got a shitty reply after asking politely about my order. The phone was also slammed down whilst I was still speaking to them. I suggest they send the staff on a customer relations training course. This is the last money they'll have from me. Apparently they have been posted even though the website doesn't say so and the postman called at 7.30 this morning with nothing from Ribble :!:

Maybe I've been unlucky with them but I shall stick to my usuals:
I ordered bits from wiggle on saturday that my lbs doesn't stock and it arrived on monday, I also ordered from them yesterday and it arrived today. I wish wiggle didn't have such low stocks on things, their service is 100%

I've placed about 3 relatively large orders with them this year, and had faultless service.

Agreed, the online notification/status never ever reflects reality, but I chose the basic delivery everytime, and on average it was 2 days.

If I order items online, I always feel you have to expect to wait for it, if you want it, or have to have it by a specific date, I would generally look to go to a LBS.
Agreed, if your paying for next day, then they should honour it, but there you go.

I sent a helmet back for refund, and that was handled fine as well, to be honest I have never had a truly bad exxperience with any online bike related retailer, and I must have used a dozen.

My faves off the top of my head, in no specific order:

    Ribble
    Wiggle
    CRC
    Merlin
    JE James

    Dan
    Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
Marin Palisades Trail 91 and 06
    Scott CR1 SL 12
    Cannondale Synapse Adventure 15 & 16 Di2
    Scott Foil 18

  • Ribble don't offer next day service so I don't know how you paid for that!!
