Chainset question
Does a Truvativ Rouler carbon chainset axle have the same length dimensions as a Shimano Chainset axle?
My frame has a Shimano specific BB (Scott Addict SL) and as I am running Campag I went for a FSA chainset however there is a tint bit of play when fitted which results in a slight knocking sound when pedalling, I think the axle on the FSA chainset is probably 1-2mm longer than the Shimano equivelent.
I have solved the problem on a temp basis with a fibre washer from B&Q but I would rather put a chainset on the bike which fits properly and quite like the look fo the Truvativ chainset as well as it not being overly expensive. Or can anyone recommend an alternative?
Thanks all.
