    Awesome images of Dr Ferrari at work. You might as well watch two lab rats duke it out. It's not sport, it's deception.

    It's not even entertainment, the ever increasing weight of doping took its toll on Pantani, even Armstrong arguably got more and more prickly as he ducked straight questions, this ambassador for our sport turned into a knob at best, maybe even a monster.

    Riders active all season too, Fignon won the Milan - San Remo, took the Giro d'Italia too. Then we had the best Tour ever. And now this, although the worlds was held in August, a far better time of the year. What a killer course too. Sensational stuff!
