What mountain Bike

Hi, Ive just joined this forum and would like any advice on what mountain bike to buy. I would like to spend around £500.00 but could go up to £1000.00. I would probably use the bike on parks and the odd tracks whilst exercising my dog. Any thoughts would be welcomed. Many thanks, Ray :?

    buy an 07 bike is my tip. Mine was reduced from £1000 to £689!

    Try Pauls Cycles, a bit hit and miss but sometimes has some really good deals on. Usually on the less popular sizes but you may get lucky
    If it's not a Yeti, it's not worth riding!

    are you sure you need a mtb? If you're not off-roading then you'll be better off with a road/utility bike. Something tough and maintanance lite, like a charge mixer.
