FSA wheels
Has anyone used or got these wheels, I've borrowed my dads RD220's before and they roll really smoothly but I was wondering whether the 400's were similer.
Does anyone know how they compare to Shimano r550

I had a set of the RD220s - the rear died when the part where the spokes connect to the hubs came apart after ~3000 miles. The front got mangled after being hit by a car.
I think they are ok wheels that came with my Focus Cayo but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy one. For the same money I think the equivalent Shimanos or Mavics would be better VFM.0 -
Do you reckon I'd be better waiting and eventually getting some planet x 50s?0

Yes.
I ave some RD220's also on a Cayo, and have just broken a front spoke. They are a bit mushy to ride, "£200 gives you a reasonable choice of wheels, not least handbuilts, say open pro on Ultegra hubs which would probably be better in every way.0
