Pedals for a duck footed person?

I'm duck footed and a size 12 shoe. I've found that using SPD-SLs, I can't get my ankle angled in enough, because due to the length of my foot, at the angle it should be, my heel clips the chainstay, even with the cleat as far forward as possible. Naturally, this twists my knee, causing pain on longer runs. I could do with a pedal which puts the cleat, and so the shoe, further from the crank arm, allowing me to get a larger angle on the cleat.

You can get pedal spindle extenders which push your pedals about 2 cm further out - try Highpath Engineering; http://www.highpath.net/cycles/special/pedals.html - cheaper than new pedals or shoesMake mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
