Bike Sizing - HEEEEELP

Hi everyone,

I have decided on a Boardman Comp as my first Bike but have no idea which size would be best. I have sat on both the Large and XL but I dont really know which would be best in the long term. I am 185cm tall and have approx 84cm inside leg (if this helps!)

Also - anyone know what a 'semi compact' frame design means?

Please help I am lost...

    Hi, semi compact means the top tube slopes down from the head tube to the seat tube, if it said "compact" the top tube would have even more of a slope.
    I suspect you would be most comfortable on a Large, as the XL could be too big with too much stretch to the bars. Generally it is better to have the frame slightly smaller than larger.
