Raleigh Sojourn does anyone know if this is available in the UK?

I'm pretty sure it's not. Raleigh UK has the Royal as it's touring bike.

If you wanted one, you could probably find a shop in the US willing to ship you one, but shipping would be kind of pricey (50-60 pounds), and you ought to be liable for duty too. Could be worth it, since the Sojourn looks really nice! Alternatively, take a nice holiday and buy one then.

I should finish my Galaxy and stop looking at other bikes. Glad it is out of reach.

How come Raleigh in the US are so cool?

I presume it's a different company related only by name!

I agree that the Sojourn is a gorgous bike - disc brakes as well.

Raleigh is owned by one person and the national subsidaries (US, UK, etc) are run seperately with minimal co-operation (unfortunately).

I asked Raligh UK if they had plans to include the Sojourn in their future range - they said they would think about it. What I do know is that the forthcoming 2009 range is much higher spec than last year - and that was a big improvement on the previous year.

I like it. If I had one it would have to be a different colour though.

    Hellfire!
