I have suddenly had a refund for something I never expected to get back, so I have a hundred and something quid which I want to spend on some new shades.

I saw some lovely looking bling in the TdF this year. Especially ones with nice orangey metalic looking lenses.

Does anyone know what the stars are wearing these days, that I might shamelessly indulge in some retail?

Cav had some snazzy ones. So did Millar. Did you mean those?

I just got some Oakley Radar Path Infrareds which are quite sexy.

Yep. those are the Radar Path, but I got mine in red frames with photochromic lenses (which actually don't really go dark enough grr...)

Go for Oaklley Radar atomic orange!! As used by Fabian C

The orangey metallic lens is probably Fire Iridium

Just make sure that orange doesn't clash with your kit.

Just bought the photochromatic one's myself....... Should I exchange them for a normal black iridium?!

Pretty sure that's not Fire Iridium...I have Fire Iridium lenses in my Ski Goggles...they have a blue/yellow tint.

The Fire Iridium in my Retina Burn Radars (the bright yellow ones Millar had last year  ) is a Red/Orange/Yellow colour. Occasionally it does look abit blue/green though.

The really intense plain yellow reflective lens the pros sometimes wear is 24k Iridium which apparently isn't available to the public.
