Anyone using crank bros eggbeaters with road shoe cleats?
I just made the discovery that crank bros make a road shoe compatible cleat for eggbeaters as well as the standard two hole MTB cleat - anybody use the road ones?
It seems the ideal solution to pedal/shoe differences for different bikes as I could use either shoes on either bike (geared and fixie) depending on what type of riding I'm doing (i.e. includes walking around).

I use the road cleats with Quattro pedals, although I've used them a couple of times with candies as well. No problem with them at all, find they're great.
Mine are the road style cleat, but only have 2 holes in them, so I use a 2 to 3 hole adapter to use them with my Specialized road shoes0 -
I have quattros on my road bike and borrowed a friend's mountain bike for a couple of months and it had egg beaters. I used my road shoes and cleats and they worked perfectly.0

Guys, thanks for responding, that's really useful to know. If I get the job offer I'm keeping my fingers crossed for then I'll add them to the shopping list to deal with the 10 miles each way commute!0

I use normal Eggbeaters on my road bikes with road shoes and the three hole cleats. No issues at all.0
