Is Whinlatter open yet?

Has anyone been over to Whinlatter?

I've heard exciting things about it but then everything seems to have gone quiet.

I was considering going over and combining it with The North Face at Grizedale...

    Yep it's open although only the first 10km or so is finished with the rest being finished in the Autumn.

    I think it's excellent, makes the north face trail seem crap in comparison. It's fairly similar to spooky wood at Glentress with lots of huge scooping berms and plenty of jumps. A lap at the current length takes about 1 hour 15 but worth doing it all again when you've finished.
