Moving Saddle Fore/Aft
Anyone know how to adjust the saddle fore/aft on a dual bolt seat post. I have the instructions that came with it in front of me, apart from basic installation and torque values they are pretty poor.
I'm guessing I just undo both bolts then slide the seat forward/back and tighten bolts back up setting the nose up/down angle while doing it?
(sorry, basic question but I don't want to damage anything.)

That's about it, I don't think you can do any harm (unles you overtighten the bolts, unlikely). It is sometimes tricky to get the seat level, and maybe avoid having it set at the very ends of the rails (if you need that much adjustment consider a shorter or longer stem).0

Assuming the bolts are fore and aft the saddle sits in a cradle which allows you to move the saddle back and forth. The cradle also moves in a semi-circular cut out to allow the nose of the saddle to be lowered/raised. Fix the saddle in the cradle and adjust it roughly to how you think you want the saddle angled. As you tighten each bolt it will pull down and if you loosen the bolt it will allow the saddle nose to tilt up/down. So if you tighten the front bolt and loosen the rear the nose will go down and the rear of the saddle will raise and vice versa.M.Rushton0
