Saracen Mantis SE Gear trouble ):

hi, i have a Saracen Mantis SE moutain bike and i have troubel with the gear change. The bike has 'SRAM Sx4' gears, but the gear change is very slow and sometimes even non-existent!
Does anbody know how i can adjust them so that the gear change is more rapid?

Also, does anybody know of a way how to adjust the brakes on the bike (v-brake gears) so that they work better?

Sounds like you need a new cable, and a bike service.

Have a look at the Park Tools website for guides on how to adjust the parts you have.
