New second bike...

Not sure which section this should go in. I currently have a 05 HardRock Sport Disc, but I’m thinking of getting another bike. I did think about a racer, but now I’m not sure. Have been looking at some Cyclo-cross bikes. Any recommendations?

    Not much brand cache, but when I was looking at crossers I liked the Pinnacle one for a grand from Evans - at least should be easy to find one of those to have a go on, at the right ime of year. As usual, the Focus crossers look like awesome value. Not really an expert though.
