Kona v Specialized

Ok I think i have got it down to 2 bikes but unsure which two they are:

Kona Fire Mountain

And

Specialized Hardrock Comp Disc

I was orginally wanting to but a bike then upgrade the fork initially then the rest at later dates. However cant afford that so will up date fork next year then work on from there. CAn anyone offer some advice on what to go to and possibly upgrade advice on each bike.

Have a read of the What Bike thread in this section. Value wise, the two you suggest are about the worst!
