Tonight i fitted my sella italia gel flow flight saddle and tried out my new DHB bib shorts and went for a litle ride (Only 5 miles)

Came back and took the shorts off and ive noticed they have started to bobble a little on the pad area underneath

Two questions really......

1) Is this a problem?

2) Is there anything i can do to stop it?

It's possibly the stitching around the gel area. One of my Pro-Link gel flow saddles has started eroding my shorts around the pad stitching and it seems to be the stiches are raised slightly. Try running your hand over the saddle. Poss. putting tape over the stitching might work

When you say tape do you mean electrical tape or normal cellotape?

I'd try elec.tape or duct tape just covering the stitching or some form of clear liquid/wax that will harden over the stitching. Tape is the easiest. Take the bike out again and see if the bobbling gets worse. I replaced the saddle temporarily with a smooth surfaced one but have 3 other P-links that haven't been a problem

I did get some high up on the leg near the pad. Turned out to be the rough side of the velcro holding on my seat pack...worth checking??

Not sure that I completely uderstand the problem but your bibs could be rubbing
on an exposed portion of the seatpost clamp. If your seat is pushed all the way
back it could expose a little bit of clamp. I could be way off base with this but
I gave it a shot. Weirder things have happened.
