Continuing on a wheel thread i made i think now i will probably get a halo combat to match the front, question is hub decision, i was looking at the Halo spin doctor but that has meny mixed opinions on crc in the user reviews, i am also now looking at the Nuke Proof Generator hub which is a bit more than i wanted to spend but looks like a good hub but the freehub body is alu and i have a sram SRAM PG970 cassette which i not sure if it's steel or alu and i have read the hope hubs freehub bodys are alu too and steel cassettes damage the freehub body quicker, is this the same with the nuke proof hubs ?

Any other hubs i should have a look at ?? i want cartridge bearings, good strength and hope hubs are out as they are too much.

Why not get a new cassette too with an aluminium carrier?

Not an option as that's even more cash to spend and the cassette i have now isn't that old.

Looked at the Revolver and like the Spin Doctor it has a wide mixed options in the user reviews. I think i'm going to need to ponder on this, i may just get the Nuke Proof Generator after all, quick engagement and the freehub may be stronger any way if the description is anything to go by "The alloy cassette carrier has been cold forged with extensive CNC machining to exacting tolerances and features a hard anodized finish for durability and strength."
