HELP PLEASE???

Right i have been doing my research and i have picked 4 bikes that i think will be good to get me started!!!!!!! i am 6,2 ,16 stone and 26 years old so a late starter and obviously i don't want to go and drop a massive amount of money for my first bike!! i will mostly be doing xc and if i can find some hills maybe start to venture that way!!! just wondering if any of you have them and also if you rate them!!

1:GT AVALANCHE 3.0 -£300

2:SPECIALIZED HARDROCK COMP DISK -£300

3:KONA FIRE MOUNTAIN -£355

4:SCOTT ASPECT 45 -£360

These are the prices i can get them for and am swaying towards the scott because of the hyd brakes and lockable forkes????
any help would be greatly received!!!

Choices 3 or 4 are both good. Personally I like the Kona.
