The 52cm size as indicated on their geometry chart comes with a 50cm seat tube. It would fit me, albeit a tad small, but will it fit you?

Apart from that it seems to be a standard 7005 alloy tubed frame with carbon forks (said to be ITM Visia but means ITM Vista), for the price I guess it's ok value wise.

Looks to me like it is the same as the Ribble 7005 Aluminium frame. Ribble price only £110 including carbon forks and headset!

Have been looking at this frame myself to build up as a winter bike.

Is it not from Dave Hinde who we read so many horror stories about regarding cutomer service etc?

They don't come with headsets, however with headset and delivery they cost closer to £140 - still a bargain and definitely recommend over most of the options in that price range.

No it isn't. Be careful - as this mistake has been made before.

I believe Dave Hinde trades as "Number1bikebits" on Ebay.

DH Cycles just unfortunately have the same initials. I have used them and they are very good.

    Gary.

was also looking at that as an alternative to the ribble frame - very similar geometry. Ribble also have shoddy customer service making DHC favourable - see post here about headtube lengths

DHC is owned and run by Dave Harding, not Dave Hinde!!

D.H. Cycles is one of my LBSs, just over a mile away, in Obelisk Road in Woolston (Southampton). Dave is a very enthusiastic and passionate about cycling, I was a little gutted that back in spring 2007, I could not find anything in his range that took my fancy (so I got my Felt online and bought pedals; shoes; helmet; turbo trainer etc. from DHC).

He was very generous in giving my online purchase a once over to check all bolts were secure, as well as fitting my Time Atac Carbon XS pedals, all for nowt... Probably helped I was buying all the above bits at the same time! :D

Nah Ribble aren't too bad, I do most of dealing with Ribble now, plenty of emails back and forth between them and me - only one minor slip up.

IMO their customer service is better than CRC and Wiggle - I've never had a problem with Parker International (but I don't do much business with them).

Its more expensive thatn what has been mentioned so far in this thread, but I cannot resist highlighting the Principia RSL EVO 2005 framesets going for £268 at CRC... 60% below RRP!!!

If you do a quick search using "Principia" you will find a recent thread where someone bought of these ;) (with pics)
