east riding at beverley this sunday route advice

im planning travelling from leeds to beverley sunday for this event

riding but struggling to find route planner...any suggestions as to where i can get the details...all i seem to get is A1 ROUTE....NOT GOOD ON A BIKE ME THINKS!!!

    err, I think its on Saturday! Correct me if I'm wrong though, as I'm planning on heading up from London on Friday night (by car!). Not sure on quickest scenic route from Leeds to Beverley, maybe try bikely.com?

    struggling on the bikely to sort it out...how do i put in start then end destination and it plans my route?

    Its definitely Saturday 2nd August - just checked the final instructions on the website. Hope you can still make it.

    Saturday is a sportive, sunday is a race ( as is Friday ).

    The old Leeds to Beverley route - before they sorted out the m621 into leeds - was to go across to York along the main (Tadcaster) road or somewhere parallel. Then you can get from York to Beverley either along along the main 1079 Hull Road or (preferably) one of the quieter routes say via Stamford Bridge and Pocklington etc similar to the Sportive route on Saturday.
