Cutting carbon bars

Hi there, is it possible to cut carbon bars to length. I bought a set on ebay, really nice but much longer than I expected. I would like to cut them to the same size as my existing bars. Any advice would be appreciated.

I just got a jigsaw on mine to the tune of 20mm each end. Easy, use a fine metal blade.

Use masking tape, mark the bar, wear a mask, saw carefully with a good quality blade. Preferably use a mitre block to keep it square.

Just one more thing, don't do it if they're reinforced and you want to use barends.
